Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about who executes your swap, what it costs, how long it takes and what TorrentSwap can and cannot see.
The basics
What is TorrentSwap?
TorrentSwap is a private, no-account cross-chain swap and bridge aggregator. Compare named routes and see what reaches your wallet before you send. You pick what to send and what to receive, compare quotes from open protocols such as NEAR Intents, THORChain, Chainflip, Flashnet and Pact Swap, and send once. TorrentSwap never holds your funds: the protocol named on your route executes the swap and pays out to your address.
Do I need an account or KYC?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to give. The protocols that execute swaps can apply their own compliance screening, for example against sanctioned addresses, so a deposit can occasionally be refused and refunded.
Which blockchains and assets are supported?
38 assets on 17 live networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Tron, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Zcash, NEAR and Cardano. Any live asset can be swapped to any other. The Supported Networks page lists every asset and address format.
Is TorrentSwap legal to use?
Crypto rules differ by country and change over time. TorrentSwap does not give legal advice or confirm that a swap is permitted for you. You are responsible for following the law where you live and the Terms of Use.
Routes and protocols
Who actually executes my swap?
An open cross-chain protocol, such as NEAR Intents, THORChain, Chainflip, Flashnet or Pact Swap, depending on the pair. Every quote names the protocol before you commit, and the deposit screen shows it again with a short note on how it holds your deposit while the swap settles.
How is the route chosen?
You choose. TorrentSwap requests quotes from every protocol that can execute your pair and ranks them by what you receive after all fees. The best-paying route is pre-selected and the quickest is marked; you can pick any of them.
Why does one pair show three routes and another only one?
Protocols cover different networks. NEAR Intents covers every network in the catalog; Chainflip covers native BTC, ETH, SOL, Arbitrum and Tron assets; Flashnet covers Bitcoin, the major EVM networks, Solana, Tron, Litecoin and Zcash. A route only appears when its protocol returns a live quote.
How long does a swap take?
It depends mostly on the network you send from. From Bitcoin, expect roughly 10 minutes on Flashnet, 10–12 minutes on Chainflip and around 30 minutes on NEAR Intents. From Ethereum, Solana, Tron and other fast networks, usually 1–3 minutes. Each quote shows its own estimate; it is an estimate, not a promise.
Fees and amounts
What does a swap cost?
Every quote already includes all fees: the platform fee, the protocol's fee and network fees, so what you see is what you should receive. The swap box shows the total fees for your amount before you confirm. Nothing is added afterwards. Your wallet also charges the normal network fee to send the deposit.
What is the protected minimum?
Every route shows a minimum you will receive. If prices move and the protocol cannot deliver at least that amount, it refunds your deposit instead of swapping at a worse rate.
Can I swap any amount?
No. Protocols set minimums (and sometimes maximums) that change with network fees and liquidity. The swap box shows the current limits as soon as you enter an amount.
What if I send the wrong amount?
Send exactly the amount on the deposit screen, before the quote expires. A short deposit may be refunded rather than swapped, and a late or duplicate deposit may need manual help. Keep the transaction hash and contact support; never share a seed phrase.
Wallets, tracking and refunds
Do I have to connect a wallet?
No. You can copy the deposit address — or scan the payment QR code — into any wallet or exchange withdrawal. Connecting a supported wallet is optional: it reads only your public address and lets you approve the exact transfer, and nothing moves until you approve it.
How do I track my swap?
Tracking starts automatically once the deposit address is created, and every swap gets its own private order page at torrentswap.com/order/<order ID>. Keep that link: it opens your order with live status on any device, and the order ID is what support will ask for. Recent swaps are also under Your swaps in the navigation. There is no transaction hash to paste.
What happens if my swap fails?
If a protocol cannot complete the swap within the protected minimum, it refunds the deposit to the refund address you entered. A refund cannot fix every mistake: sending an unsupported asset or using the wrong network may not be recoverable.
Privacy and security
Is TorrentSwap anonymous?
No swap service can make public blockchains invisible, and TorrentSwap does not claim to. What it does is collect as little as a swap needs: no account, no tracking cookies, and addresses used only to execute and track your swap. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is processed and shared.
Does TorrentSwap ever hold my funds?
No. Your deposit goes to the executing protocol, which holds it briefly while the swap settles and pays out to your address. TorrentSwap has no customer balances and never has access to your keys.
How do I stay safe?
Check the domain, the network of both assets, the receiving address and the refund address before you send. Use only the current deposit details, and never share a seed phrase or private key — TorrentSwap support will never ask for one.

Ready to compare live routes?
No account needed. Confirm the route, the networks and both addresses before you send.
