Simple and secure

How TorrentSwap works

Select a network-qualified route, review a current quote, verify both addresses, send the exact deposit, and track the result.

The process

The process at a glance

Standard swaps do not require a TorrentSwap account. Availability and checks can vary, and every blockchain transaction remains public. Here is the product flow:

  1. 1

    Select your cryptocurrencies

Choose a source and destination from the currently verified route combinations.

  2. 2

    Enter your addresses

Provide your destination address to receive the swapped assets and a refund address.

  3. 3

    Get a quote

Review the exchange rate, expected receive amount, minimum received, and estimated time.

  4. 4

    Send your funds

Send your cryptocurrency to the provided deposit address.

  5. 5

    Receive your swapped assets

Track the route until it completes, remains pending, fails, or enters a refund state.

Step by step

Detailed step-by-step guide

1

Select your cryptocurrencies

Start by selecting which cryptocurrency you want to swap (the source) and which one you want to receive (the destination).

Supported blockchains

Ethereum logoEthereum
Solana logoSolana

The selector shows the exact assets currently published for each network. Confirm both the asset and network before requesting a live quote.

2

Enter your addresses

Provide the necessary wallet addresses for your swap. This ensures your funds go to the right place.

Destination address

This is where you'll receive your swapped assets. Make sure to provide a valid address for the cryptocurrency you're receiving.

Refund address

This is the intended return destination if a created route enters a refundable state. It must be a source-network address you control; it cannot recover every wrong-asset or wrong-network mistake.

Public-network note: Wallet addresses and transaction activity are visible on their respective blockchains. See the Privacy Policy for off-chain data handling.
3

Get a quote

Review the details of your swap before proceeding. Our system will provide you with a transparent breakdown.

Exchange Rate

Review the current expected receive amount; the protected minimum is shown separately when available.

Minimum Received

Review the protected minimum output shown for the current quote before you continue.

Estimated Time

If the live quote provides an estimate, treat it as route-specific guidance rather than a completion guarantee.

Slippage Protection

Review the maximum slippage applied to the quote before creating the swap.

4

Send your funds

After confirming the swap details, you'll receive a unique deposit address where you'll send your funds.

Important notes

  • Send exactly the amount specified in the quote
  • Only send from wallets you control, never directly from exchanges
  • Double-check the deposit address before sending
  • Use only the current deposit instructions and never reuse an old address
Security note: TorrentSwap does not maintain a customer account balance. A created swap still depends on its deposit instructions, route infrastructure, and networks.
5

Receive your swapped assets

Once the source deposit reaches the route's required confirmations, settlement can proceed. Use the tracker to confirm whether the route completes, remains pending, fails, or enters a refund state.

Tracking your swap

TorrentSwap watches the created swap automatically after you receive the deposit address. No transaction-hash entry is required in the main flow. You can view:

  • When your deposit is detected
  • The progress of the swap across blockchains
  • When your funds are sent to your destination address
  • Automatic provider-neutral status updates after the swap is created
Completion: Timing depends on confirmations, liquidity, and route state. Use the current tracker instead of relying on a fixed time estimate.

Advanced technology

The infrastructure behind each swap

Cross-chain route coordination

Route infrastructure coordinates a source-network deposit with delivery of the selected destination asset.

Underlying cross-chain infrastructure

The route handles liquidity and settlement across the selected networks. A fresh quote and valid deposit instructions are still required, and route outcomes can include completion, failure, or refund.

Accountless standard flow

What the product does—and does not—require:

  • No user accounts

Standard swaps do not require registration or a TorrentSwap profile. This is not a promise of anonymity.

  • Public blockchain settlement

Source and destination transactions can be inspected on their respective public ledgers.

  • Your wallet addresses

You provide a destination address and a source-network refund address that you control.
