What to know before bridging to Arbitrum

The official Arbitrum bridge credits deposits from Ethereum in roughly ten to fifteen minutes, but withdrawals back to Ethereum wait for a challenge period of about a week. A liquidity-based swap delivers ETH on Ethereum without that wait, because the protocol pays you from liquidity it already holds there.

ETH on Arbitrum is not the same asset as ETH on Ethereum mainnet, even though both show the ticker ETH. Make sure your receiving wallet is looking at the right network.
