About this route

What BTC to DOGE actually does

This route starts with native BTC on Bitcoin and delivers native DOGE on the Dogecoin network. DOGE is only available natively here — not as a token on another chain.

DOGE routes are currently quoted by NEAR Intents, where solvers compete to fill the order. With a single protocol, the receive amount can move more between quotes than on BTC–ETH routes, so request a fresh quote right before you send.

Before you send

Three checks that prevent most mistakes

The deposit

Send only BTC on the Bitcoin network to the deposit address, within the quote's time window. An expired quote should be refreshed rather than paid.

The receiving address

The destination must be a Dogecoin address, normally starting with D. Bitcoin and Litecoin addresses are not valid.

The refund address

The refund address must be a Bitcoin address you control.

Support will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. TorrentSwap only ever needs public addresses.

Why is only one protocol listed for DOGE?

Chainflip and Flashnet do not settle on Dogecoin, so NEAR Intents is the protocol that can quote it. Its solvers compete with each other on price for every order.

Is there a minimum amount?

Yes. Protocols set minimums that change with network fees. The swap screen shows the current minimum as soon as you enter an amount.

How long does BTC to DOGE take?

Typically about 30 min from sending your deposit to the payout. NEAR Intents: about 30 min. The time is driven mostly by how long Bitcoin takes to confirm the deposit, and each live quote shows that protocol's own estimate.

What fees do I pay to swap BTC to DOGE?

The platform fee, the executing protocol's fee and network fees are all already included in every quote, so the amount you see is what you should receive, and a protected minimum applies: if a protocol cannot deliver at least that, it refunds your deposit instead. Your own wallet charges the normal network fee to send the deposit.

Do I need an account or KYC to swap BTC to DOGE?

No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to give — you only enter the receiving address and a refund address. The protocols that execute swaps can apply their own compliance screening, for example against sanctioned addresses.

What happens if the swap cannot complete?

If a protocol cannot fill your swap within the protected minimum, it refunds the deposit to your refund address. The refund address must be a Bitcoin address you control.
