The deposit
Only the Ethereum version of WBTC is delivered. Wrapped bitcoin on other networks (for example cbBTC on Base) is a different token from a different issuer.
BitcoinEthereum
Turn native bitcoin into WBTC, the ERC-20 wrapped bitcoin used across Ethereum applications. You send BTC to a one-time deposit address and receive WBTC at your Ethereum address. No merchant onboarding, no account, and the quote shows exactly how much WBTC you get after fees.
Enter the amount of BTC you want to swap
Fees are included in every amount. If a protocol can’t meet your minimum, your deposit is refunded.

NEAR Intents and Flashnet can each quote BTC to WBTC (Ethereum). Which of them responds at a given moment depends on liquidity; the swap box lists every protocol that does, ranked by what you receive after fees.

Routes are ranked by the WBTC you receive after all fees. Each shows the protocol by name, its time estimate and the protected minimum.
Paste the Ethereum address that should receive the WBTC, and a Bitcoin refund address you control.
Send exactly the quoted BTC to the one-time deposit address from any wallet or exchange, or connect a supported wallet and approve one transfer. Tracking starts automatically.
About this route
This route swaps native BTC for WBTC on Ethereum. WBTC is a token backed by BTC held in custody by the WBTC custodians, so after the swap you hold a claim that depends on that custody arrangement rather than bitcoin itself.
Minting WBTC directly means going through an approved WBTC merchant, which involves identity checks. Swapping for WBTC from existing liquidity skips that step. WBTC normally trades very close to BTC, but the rate you get is set by the market, not a fixed 1:1 peg.

Before you send
Only the Ethereum version of WBTC is delivered. Wrapped bitcoin on other networks (for example cbBTC on Base) is a different token from a different issuer.
Use an Ethereum mainnet address. If you plan to deposit the WBTC into an application, send it to your own wallet first rather than to a contract address.
The refund address must be a Bitcoin address you control. A refund returns native BTC, not WBTC.
Support will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. TorrentSwap only ever needs public addresses.
FAQ
No. WBTC is an Ethereum token that represents BTC held by custodians. It follows the BTC price closely, but its value depends on that custody being honoured. Native BTC has no such dependency.
WBTC on Ethereum is also available as a source asset. Request a quote for WBTC to BTC when you need it; the amount depends on liquidity at that moment.
Typically about 10–30 min from sending your deposit to the payout. NEAR Intents: about 30 min; Flashnet: about 10 min. The time is driven mostly by how long Bitcoin takes to confirm the deposit, and each live quote shows that protocol's own estimate.
The platform fee, the executing protocol's fee and network fees are all already included in every quote, so the amount you see is what you should receive, and a protected minimum applies: if a protocol cannot deliver at least that, it refunds your deposit instead. Your own wallet charges the normal network fee to send the deposit.
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to give — you only enter the receiving address and a refund address. The protocols that execute swaps can apply their own compliance screening, for example against sanctioned addresses.
If a protocol cannot fill your swap within the protected minimum, it refunds the deposit to your refund address. The refund address must be a Bitcoin address you control. A refund returns native BTC, not WBTC.
