Who can execute this swap

NEAR Intents and Flashnet can each quote BTC to LTC. Which of them responds at a given moment depends on liquidity; the swap box lists every protocol that does, ranked by what you receive after fees.

  • NEAR Intents

    Typically about 30 min

Solvers compete to fill your swap at the best price.

Held briefly by the intents deposit service until a solver fills the order.

  • Flashnet

    Typically about 10 min

    Fast cross-chain settlement network.

Held briefly at a Flashnet deposit address while the swap settles.

About this route

What BTC to LTC actually does

This route starts with native BTC on Bitcoin and delivers native LTC on Litecoin. Both are UTXO coins with similar-looking addresses, which makes the address check more important than on most routes.

Litecoin blocks arrive every 2.5 minutes, so LTC is often used for payments that should confirm quicker than bitcoin. The wait on this route is the Bitcoin deposit; the LTC payout confirms within a few minutes.

Before you send

Three checks that prevent most mistakes

The deposit

Send only BTC to the Bitcoin deposit address shown for this quote. Do not send LTC to it: a Litecoin transfer cannot reach a Bitcoin address.

The receiving address

The destination must be a Litecoin address starting with L, M or ltc1. A Bitcoin address (bc1…, 1…, 3…) is not valid here, and MWEB addresses (ltcmweb1…) are not supported.

The refund address

The refund address must be a Bitcoin address you control.

Support will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. TorrentSwap only ever needs public addresses.

Why is my Bitcoin address rejected as the destination?

Because the payout is on Litecoin. Litecoin and Bitcoin addresses can look alike, but they belong to different networks. Copy a receiving address from the Litecoin account in your wallet.

Which protocols quote BTC to LTC?

NEAR Intents and Flashnet. The swap screen ranks whichever respond by the LTC you receive.

How long does BTC to LTC take?

Typically about 10–30 min from sending your deposit to the payout. NEAR Intents: about 30 min; Flashnet: about 10 min. The time is driven mostly by how long Bitcoin takes to confirm the deposit, and each live quote shows that protocol's own estimate.

What fees do I pay to swap BTC to LTC?

The platform fee, the executing protocol's fee and network fees are all already included in every quote, so the amount you see is what you should receive, and a protected minimum applies: if a protocol cannot deliver at least that, it refunds your deposit instead. Your own wallet charges the normal network fee to send the deposit.

Do I need an account or KYC to swap BTC to LTC?

No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to give — you only enter the receiving address and a refund address. The protocols that execute swaps can apply their own compliance screening, for example against sanctioned addresses.

What happens if the swap cannot complete?

If a protocol cannot fill your swap within the protected minimum, it refunds the deposit to your refund address. The refund address must be a Bitcoin address you control.
