What USDT (Ethereum) to BTC actually does
This route starts with the ERC-20 version of USDT on Ethereum and delivers native BTC on the Bitcoin network. It does not accept USDT from Tron, Solana or BNB Chain, and it does not deliver wrapped bitcoin.
Buying bitcoin with stablecoins you already hold is one of the most common swaps. The Ethereum deposit is accepted within minutes; after that, the BTC payout needs a Bitcoin block to confirm in your wallet.

The receiving address
Use a Bitcoin mainnet destination address you control. An EVM address or a WBTC deposit address is not a Bitcoin destination.
The refund address
The refund address must accept USDT on Ethereum. A Bitcoin address cannot receive an ERC-20 refund.
Support will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. TorrentSwap only ever needs public addresses.

Not this one. Choose USDT on Tron as the source asset in the selector — it gets its own quote and a Tron deposit address. Sending TRC-20 USDT to an Ethereum deposit address is impossible, and the reverse is a wrong-network transfer.
Why does sending USDT cost ETH?
USDT on Ethereum is an ERC-20 token, and every token transfer on Ethereum pays gas in ETH. The fee goes to the Ethereum network, not to TorrentSwap.
How long does USDT (Ethereum) to BTC take?
Typically about 1–3 min from sending your deposit to the payout. NEAR Intents: about 1–3 min; Chainflip: about 1–3 min; Flashnet: about 1–3 min. The time is driven mostly by how long Ethereum takes to confirm the deposit, and each live quote shows that protocol's own estimate. What fees do I pay to swap USDT (Ethereum) to BTC?
The platform fee, the executing protocol's fee and network fees are all already included in every quote, so the amount you see is what you should receive, and a protected minimum applies: if a protocol cannot deliver at least that, it refunds your deposit instead. Your own wallet charges the normal network fee to send the deposit.
Do I need an account or KYC to swap USDT (Ethereum) to BTC?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to give — you only enter the receiving address and a refund address. The protocols that execute swaps can apply their own compliance screening, for example against sanctioned addresses.
What happens if the swap cannot complete?
If a protocol cannot fill your swap within the protected minimum, it refunds the deposit to your refund address. The refund address must accept USDT on Ethereum. A Bitcoin address cannot receive an ERC-20 refund.
