The deposit
Send only BTC on the Bitcoin network. Keep your own expectations honest: the swap does not hide your Bitcoin transaction, and the ZEC payout is visible until you shield it.
BitcoinZcash
Convert bitcoin to Zcash without an exchange account. Send BTC to a one-time deposit address and ZEC is paid to your Zcash wallet. Protocols deliver to a transparent address; from there you can move the ZEC into your wallet's shielded pool.
Enter the amount of BTC you want to swap
Fees are included in every amount. If a protocol can’t meet your minimum, your deposit is refunded.
Transparency
NEAR Intents and Flashnet can each quote BTC to ZEC. Which of them responds at a given moment depends on liquidity; the swap box lists every protocol that does, ranked by what you receive after fees.
Typically about 30 min
Solvers compete to fill your swap at the best price.
Held briefly by the intents deposit service until a solver fills the order.

Fast cross-chain settlement network.
Held briefly at a Flashnet deposit address while the swap settles.
How Flashnet worksHow it works
Type the amount of BTC on Bitcoin. Quotes from NEAR Intents and Flashnet arrive within seconds.
Routes are ranked by the ZEC you receive after all fees. Each shows the protocol by name, its time estimate and the protected minimum.
Paste the Zcash address that should receive the ZEC, and a Bitcoin refund address you control.
Send exactly the quoted BTC to the one-time deposit address from any wallet or exchange, or connect a supported wallet and approve one transfer. Tracking starts automatically.
About this route
This route starts with native BTC on Bitcoin and delivers native ZEC on the Zcash network to a transparent (t1/t3) address.
Zcash supports shielded transactions that hide the sender, receiver and amount on-chain. The swap itself is public on both chains — your BTC deposit and the ZEC payout are ordinary transparent transactions — but once the ZEC is in your wallet you can shield it with wallets such as Zashi or Ywallet.

Before you send
Send only BTC on the Bitcoin network. Keep your own expectations honest: the swap does not hide your Bitcoin transaction, and the ZEC payout is visible until you shield it.
Use a transparent Zcash address (t1… or t3…) unless the quote explicitly accepts a shielded or unified address.
The refund address must be a Bitcoin address you control.
Support will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. TorrentSwap only ever needs public addresses.
FAQ
Use a transparent address unless the swap screen explicitly accepts another type. After it arrives, shielding it is a normal transaction inside your Zcash wallet.
No. The BTC deposit is recorded on Bitcoin's public ledger, and the ZEC payout is recorded on Zcash's transparent ledger. Shielding afterwards protects later ZEC transactions, not the swap itself.
Typically about 10–30 min from sending your deposit to the payout. NEAR Intents: about 30 min; Flashnet: about 10 min. The time is driven mostly by how long Bitcoin takes to confirm the deposit, and each live quote shows that protocol's own estimate.
The platform fee, the executing protocol's fee and network fees are all already included in every quote, so the amount you see is what you should receive, and a protected minimum applies: if a protocol cannot deliver at least that, it refunds your deposit instead. Your own wallet charges the normal network fee to send the deposit.
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to give — you only enter the receiving address and a refund address. The protocols that execute swaps can apply their own compliance screening, for example against sanctioned addresses.
If a protocol cannot fill your swap within the protected minimum, it refunds the deposit to your refund address. The refund address must be a Bitcoin address you control.
