The deposit
Send only ZEC on the Zcash network. Check that your wallet's send screen shows the full amount in the quote, including any fee it adds.
ZcashBitcoin
Convert Zcash to bitcoin without an exchange account. Send ZEC to a one-time transparent deposit address and BTC is paid to the Bitcoin address you choose. If your ZEC is shielded, your wallet unshields it as part of sending.
Enter the amount of ZEC you want to swap
Fees are included in every amount. If a protocol can’t meet your minimum, your deposit is refunded.
Transparency
NEAR Intents and Flashnet can each quote ZEC to BTC. Which of them responds at a given moment depends on liquidity; the swap box lists every protocol that does, ranked by what you receive after fees.

How Flashnet worksHow it works
Type the amount of ZEC on Zcash. Quotes from NEAR Intents and Flashnet arrive within seconds.
Routes are ranked by the BTC you receive after all fees. Each shows the protocol by name, its time estimate and the protected minimum.

Send exactly the quoted ZEC to the one-time deposit address from any wallet or exchange withdrawal. Tracking starts automatically.
About this route
This route starts with native ZEC on Zcash and delivers native BTC on Bitcoin.
Deposit addresses for swaps are transparent Zcash addresses. Modern wallets such as Zashi can send from a shielded balance to a transparent address; that final transfer is visible on-chain, like the BTC payout.

Before you send

The destination must be a Bitcoin mainnet address you control.
The refund address must be a transparent Zcash address (t1… or t3…) you control.
Support will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. TorrentSwap only ever needs public addresses.
FAQ
Yes, if your wallet supports sending from the shielded pool to a transparent address. The deposit address itself is transparent.
Refunds are sent by the protocol as an ordinary transparent transaction, so it needs a t-address to pay back to.
Typically about 5–15 min from sending your deposit to the payout. NEAR Intents: about 5–15 min; Flashnet: about 5–15 min. The time is driven mostly by how long Zcash takes to confirm the deposit, and each live quote shows that protocol's own estimate. The BTC payout then needs a Bitcoin block, usually around ten minutes, before most wallets show it as confirmed.
The platform fee, the executing protocol's fee and network fees are all already included in every quote, so the amount you see is what you should receive, and a protected minimum applies: if a protocol cannot deliver at least that, it refunds your deposit instead. Your own wallet charges the normal network fee to send the deposit.
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email to give — you only enter the receiving address and a refund address. The protocols that execute swaps can apply their own compliance screening, for example against sanctioned addresses.
If a protocol cannot fill your swap within the protected minimum, it refunds the deposit to your refund address. The refund address must be a transparent Zcash address (t1… or t3…) you control.
